Beatboxer lays out all the beats and vocals using a RC50 loop station.  Love it!  My new work song to get me into the goove.

Gillette Sharp Blades - Banner Ads

Gillette Fusion Sharp Blades produced for Proximity Toronto.  A particle system was applied to the blades to create the giant plumes of ice shavings.

Funny banner ad that's a good fit for the political scene.  Produced for Capital C an ad agency in Toronto.

Breyers Youtube ad produced along side the banner ads for Capital C.  Most of the functionality was ported over from the website.

RBC Direct Investing banner ads produced for Proximity Toronto.  Added a shine to the arrow to give the banner ads some life.

Another set of banner ads produced for Mighty an Ad Agency in Toronto. Very little code used to create the effects and the interaction.  There are 15+ different clicktags on this banner ad.

Scotia iTrade Soccer - Banner Ads

Scotia iTrade banner ads built for Capital C an ad agency in Toronto.  The toughest thing with this ad was optimizing the drawings for 40kb.  If you've seen the new video ads out there is a hand comes out and masks the drawing in.  Ideally that would have kept the file size down as it takes a lot of time to mask in each line and kb.  Even though I reused a block mask animation it still takes time to reorient in the flash.

CALL4PCHELP 2006

Website redesign for CALL4PCHELP 5 years ago.  Simple and clean with a rotating banner at the top that cycles between different images and famous quotes.  No CMS was implemented at the time.  Also some business card branding.  It's hard to find a good printing company to do your business cards right.  I went to 2 asian owned print companies for the "cheap factor" and I was sorely disappointed with the results.  They were basically hand cutting the business cards unbelievable.   I use premium companies now worth paying the extra money to get quality craftsmanship.

Russian Standard Vodka - Banner Ads

Banner ads done for Joe Dunning of Rogue Creative Toronto.  Great looking ads done for Russian Standard Vodka.  These are the original ads with the black bottle the client ended up going with the white bottle.  I think the black bottle looks way nicer than the white bottle banner ads.

Anderson Cooper Slams Snooki

I don't think anyone could have said it any better than what Anderson Cooper said about Snooki.  The excerpts comparison was the best part.

It's always a treat to see the stuff that goes on behind the scenes when making a movie as epic as Peter Jackson's new movie The Hobbit.

Dr Denton Trick Shots

This is one doc I'd definitely go to to and recommend.  The last trick shot was probably the best.  Even if it's fake it's super funny.

Ontario Takeover - Banner Ads

A fun full page takeover ad that needed to be done overnight for Capital C Toronto.  Scissors would auto close as you move the mouse around the stage.  Once you've cut all the red tape the scissors would fly into the big box revealing the rest of the ad.

Scotia iTrade banner ads produced for Capital C Toronto.  Scotia banner ads are always a fun project to work on.  To save on file size with the chinese I noticed I have to switch to a pc to publish the characters or else the file size will sky rocket if I publish on a Mac.

Shaw Slingshot - Banner Ads

Shaw banner ads produced for Proximity Toronto.  Interactive banner ad where the user is able to drag the sling shot and shoot the arrow around the banner.  I used this banner ad as a test to determine a persons skill level with actionscript.  I don't think anyone passed it.

HP Banner ads resized for Proximity Toronto.  Beware of imitations when it comes to your toner.

iShares Mining - Banner Ads

Banner ads for iShares produced for Mighty Toronto.  These banners ads didn't make the cut but they are a good example of particle systems.  At first I tried creating individual masks to create a more realistic effect but that just drove the file size way up.  In the end I ended up creating a particle system to coincide with the shape tween effect.
