This RBC banner ad build was complicated. The artwork needed to be optimized. The original dev said you could just run it through an auto vector program and it'll be optimized for flash. That's a big NO NO in my book when it comes to optimization. If you do that it converts the raster into many vertex points. You could have 10000 tangent points and each point takes up memory that could exceed that of a raster image. The proper way is to redo the vector tracing it and then matching up the color and sometimes gradient to be identical. Use the vector tracing trick to do this.
